Guy's,

I am an idiot or this might just be a coincidence !! I decided to clean and spray dw40 on the hydraulic lifts that lift my convertible. Note: Before this my top worked flawless up and down in under 30 seconds. Since my mishap I was able to get the top down but then it would not go back up. It would get to the part where the back trunk would unlock and then nothing. I would then get the message Top Malfunction. I am not hearing the motor run at all. I have checked the fuse and it passed. I should not I also had taken the Battery out of the car for a few hours to charge it. Just wondering if anyone knows If I buy Volvo Vida Dice will it be able to tell if any of the sensors are bad etc..? Is there a manual way I can test the motor itself? I am so mad at myself I should have left well enough alone. Just looking for some troubleshooting tips on what you guys would try. Is it possible that the Hydraulics all went bad a the same time and this is just a coincidence? Thanks

So I had help pulled the cord and manually took the top down so I could try and clean all the sensors. We then put the top backup and I pushed the green button to lock the hydraulic pump. I made it worse in fact now the alarm keeps going off saying the top is unlocked. Its almost like the motor is not running for the hydraulics at all. If I get a Volvo Vida Dice can that check the sensors and tell me maybe what is wrong? Does it also allow you to calibrate the top an force it to ignore the sensors and move so I can test if the motors work?

So guys I bought the volvo vida and got the software to work but rooftop calibration seems to be a hard thing to get working. Its says in order to do this that hall sensor 6 has to be active? I am not sure what that means but mine is definently in passive mode. How can I get it in active mode?
