I have a 2009 1.8 litre petrol V50 which is burning oil. (I say burning but it's not smoking, but nor do I have any leaks)
I've read that it's possibly the PCV valve or a PCV breather, obviously I would rather change those than change piston rings, but not sure if the petrol engine has them. I can't find anything online showing where it is, all the images and videos keep directing to a diesel engine.
Does anyone know if the 1.8 petrol engine actually has a PCV valve? And if so where is it located?
