$5,000.00

Bellingham, Massachusetts

I'm selling my 780 which I've owned for over 20 years. Prior to my ownership it was in Louisiana briefly and Dallas mostly. I never drove it in the winter and there is no rust on the chassis at all. No rust around back windows or anywhere else. It has 220k, had about 100k when I bought it.

I posted at $5,000 but I'm not really sure what it's worth. I recently sold my 2005 V70R at well below market - https://www.swedespeed.com/threads/2005-v70-r-6-spd-manual.679344/?post_id=8227732#post-8227732 and I dont really want to repeat that.

The car is beautiful and has only minor issues/quirks (at 35 years no surprise) and a couple scrapes on the body that would be easily repaired. The car is very reliable and only left me stranded once - a fuel relay.

It has four new Continental tires, a new exhaust system, new exhaust manifold gasket, new mass air flow sensor and all 3 belts brand new. I only used synthetic oil and changed it at 5k. There's other new parts I'll list later with additional photos and I'll detail the issues/quirks. I kept up with all service as needed or recommended. I'll try and put my hands on the complete service history. It's in a folder somewhere. Just got a Mass. inspection sticker last week

I gave this car to my son a couple/few years ago but he's living in NYC and having a car there is a drag, so it's time to move it along.

I'm soliciting honest opinions on what the car is worth, more or less.

pICTURES OF ENGINE AND / OR CLARIFICATION WOULD BE GOOD. aLSO PIX OF SCRAPES.
I've been away and otherwise preoccupied. Here's a photo of the Turbo 4. I was under the impression all 780's from '89 on were the turbo. Wouldn't bet the ranch on it though. Car has 221k on it. Never in an accident, drives perfectly on the highway. About to check if I have any private messages.

Rodents had nested in the hoodliner and I cut it back where they crapped all over it. I'm gleeful every time I get one in a trap. Hate 'em.
