Hi, anyone know what the fuel pressure should be while the engine's idling or at a constant speed please? (Or better still what pressures high & low a trouble code will be logged)

From VIDA:

Fuel pressure (Pa)

Measurement range: 50-4680 kPa.
The parameter indicates absolute pressure.
The engine control module (ECM) derives the pressure from the fuel pressure sensor signal. When idling, with the engine at operating temperature and in neutral, the value should be approximately 400 kPa.

400 kPa = 4 bar = 58 psi

Note that the above pressures refer to absolute pressure. If you intend to measure the fuel pressure at the fuel rail with an external pressure gauge you will have to subtract atmospheric pressure from the above numbers. Also note that the fuel pressure will increase with demand above a certain threshold, which means that at full throttle you will see the fuel pressure increase, but when at idle or when cruising at a steady RPM you should see around 400 kPa.

I'm not sure at what thresholds the high and low pressure trouble codes will be logged.

The gauge pressure on fuel rail port will be 300 kPa/44 psi after it stabilizes. When first started with warm engine it starts at 380-400 kPa gauge P and then falls to 300 Kpa after 2 minutes. It is higher when running hard and it also occasionally goes to 560-600 kPa as part of a relief valve cleaning routine. The code sets when the pressure value from the fuel press sensor differs from desired controlled pressure by plus or minus 30 or so kPa for more than 30 seconds.
