well they got a lot of things right except the timeline.
Good M56 candidate...I would be interested if it had volans and/or was a bit less modified. Could scoot down there and check it out if anyone here is interested1997 850R Sedan. White/Tan. ??k. $3k. Slipping trans. Lacey, WA.
paired up with its mullet-wearing, GED aspirant trailer park cousin, LetGo - only to find that somewhere in the pandemic, the two had mutated into one 🥴🥴
" But damnsky! if I didn't find some decent-looking P80's and P2's in there.
BC and J striking mullet gold.Moving along to things that are actually good value and worth purchasing......

They are that rare. 1,420 CY estates. Problem is this is this one is RHD and I don't think P80 aren't valuable to own solely as investments....isn't any cheaper to store a $30k car than a $300k car. If you're getting transportation value out of it along the way, different story, which is what my situation with mine is. In the last year I've racked up close to 10k miles taking it on road trips....and having a road trip car where my $ that's tied up in it isn't losing money 24/7 is pretty great. But I don't really want to be driving in a RHT country in a RHD car and there's zero parts support here for any of the RHD specific parts so, to me, that kind of misses the point of owning a P80.Genuine question as I am wholly uneducated here, but how rare are these such that we might get to a point where even a lackluster example is worth it because it's at least an example? I know they are rare, but do you think it eventually crosses that threshold?
I have no personal interest as it's not my uhh stick of butter as it were, but am generally curious about that generation.
I'm with you, though at half that price if possible.I'd just buy the first decent 850 turbo for $5-8k instead so I could actually drive it and have some fun.
I think we both know this was possible a year and a half ago, depending on your interpretation of the word "decent"half that price if possible

You missed something and I had to look at below pic for a while to to better understand what exactly I am looking at? Its missing the passenger side airbag. This is the 1st T-5R I have ever seen with no passenger side airbag. I thought they were all standard ?!? You learn something new every day.omg those rear brake rotors

more of those barum tires, too. And it needs bumper brackets. This is hilarious.
Undercoating has been redone. I wonder why.

Another lackluster example that some unsuspecting buyer will overpay massively for.
Is the illusion that all the BaT cars all in good shape shattered yet, now that we're on the inside looking out?
