Some Polestar owners may want to purchase spare parts that might wear over time (interior bits) to have in storage for a future restoration. Easier to purchase a steering wheel, shift knob and hard to find Ohlins shocks today than 10 yrs from now. These are limited to a few hundred vehicles world-wide and at the sunset of for the current generation 60-series.

850R, Gen 1 V70R and P2 R owners are finding it difficult to find some replacement parts today.

It would be nice to be able to buy the Polestar wheels and suspension bits. :)

I would presume Volvo mandates its dealers to replace those parts in their shops and send the defective/broken parts back to Polestar for post mortem to improve those parts. You likely aren't going to get parts like Ohlins without good reason.
I'm pretty sure that's illegal. Manufacturers have to make parts available to independent shops so their dealer service departments don't have a monopoly that can and would be abused.

Volvo is within the letter of the law by requiring a VIN/Ownership proof as part of the sale, but again there are so many ways around it it's not even funny. Someone with a Polestar car will probably setup an Ebay shop and open up access to parts to everyone and just tack on a few % for profit as a middleman... After all, Volvo also can't legally prevent anyone from reselling parts.

Parts can be ordered.

So...Let's see them?
I have the rear emblem on the trunk and the gas pedal already installed. Brake pedal, dead pedal and trunk spoiler are on order (back order sadly;))

I had a little "shopping list". That changed a little once we looked up some prices. We were able to get prices on the intercooler, front rotors/calipers/backing plates (19" -45 offset wheels will clear with a 10mm spacer ;) ), rear pads, door sills, front and rear shocks and upper strut bar.

You parts department should be able to find them under the 2015 S60/V60 then selct the "T5" engine (or so I'm told)

Hope that helps!

What's List Price on the intercooler?

I'll check when I get back in tomorrow. ;)
Canadian pricing will be higher though. :(

Since I was the one who started this thread, please look up the rear sway first! :p
I'm being told the swaybar will require new bushings (thicker) and new endlinks. At this point only the bushings show up on VIDA. Nothing on the bar or links.
The intercooler is $671 CDN

OK so just like the IPD bar (sans endlinks). Can you please keep an eye out for the bar and end-links?

In the meantime, what is the PN for the bushings?
