Yes there is and its called 'Safety net' - go to volvo usa, xc70, accessories, safety net. the below is a copy from the address:

Having said that, the steel cargo barrier is more functional and allows you to squeeze and push stacks more into the luggage compartment without it bulging out into the rear passenger seat. it looks neater too. kind of weird and of course it isnt but if you leave anything in the rear compartment when the car is unattended i actually feel its a bit safer - i cannot explain it but that is the feeling i have when goodies are left in the rear.

cheers

Has anyone purchased the "Load Liner" on that link?

I have been debating on it for a couple of months now, and my only concern is that the part where the "XC70" logo appears, will still be standing up if you fold down the back seat to maximize cargo area. Otherwise I like how is it a solid piece and prevents a mess from getting into the cracks and corners..

I've got the soft side Dirt Cover. From that I've read about the Load Liner, the big drawback is if you want to lay your seats forward you are limited by the liner, which does not store in the garage all that well.

I'm actually starting to work on a full xc70 accessories post. Hopefully we can get it made into a sticky and we can get real life experiences with the accessories posted up here.

Yes I got it when i bought the vehicle and it fits like a glove. it stays in unless almost all the time hence the back is as new. its really quiet flexible but still firm enough to keep shape and stay snugly in place. its not heavy at all. As it is quiet flexible its a snack to get in and out, you just kind of bend it inwards and once in let go and it springs back into shape and you drop it into place (reverse to get out). My wife is no Charles Atlas but she can get it in and out in a nanosecond (odd though that she can do that but she's never learned how to mow the lawn). There would never be any chance that it would make any noise or vibrate etc. As i rarely have the need to drop the seats for oversize cargo the aspect pf having to remove does not pose a nuisance or problem. If you have a large german shepherd as i do then its a genuine blessing. I consider its been money well spent.

Cheers
