I have been detailing cars for the last 20 years and have always been a fan of the Zymol and Griots Garage products. I have heard over the last few years that Zaino Brothers is the way to go so I ordered some this week. I followed the instructions and washed my car in Dawn like they suggest to start with a clean slate (I have at least 6 coats of Zymol concours as well as 4 coats of Griots wax on there I wanted to make sure I got it off) I did this twice to make sure it was all gone. Took it for a dry spin down the highway to make sure I got ALL the water out of all those little R pockets. I didnt want to ruin 4 hours of detailing by pulling out on the road and have water come out of those darn mirrors.
I followed the instructions and was very impressed with how much dirt came off the hood alone. They suggest using the AIO and then follow with the Z5. They say that you should wait 24 hours in between coats of Z5 so these pics are only one coat. Needless to say I am very happy with the results. Its only been a day but the car has never looked this good. I will let you all know how long it lasts.

Modified by WEB3 at 6:59 PM 8-8-2009

Re: Zaino Brothers results (WEB3)

Nice job! The metallic flakes really pop (when you enlarge the pics). Electric Silver looks good with the Ti Pegs as well. I have heard a lot of good things about Zaino products.

I've been using Zaino products for about 10 years now. Outstanding looks and protection. The older products always held up for about a year with 2-3 coats applied. The latest gem (zfx I think?) has held up very well on my R - at leat 2 years, although it is defnitely time to clay and reapply now.

I just had my ride detailed with their product. The guy who did it, is a master at black cars and made my R beautiful.
He gave me a bottle of Zaino between wash spray that I used to dust the car and it worked great.

I've been using Zaino for several years now too and it truely is an awesome product. If you haven't bought it yet, pick up some Z8 Grand Finale spray. Use it for meets, shows or days when you want a little something extra.

Zaino might not be the last word in shinyness (although it is pretty nice, but it can't beat real wax) but it lasts half of eternity.
You're making me feel guilty for not cleaning my ride....

Get the Z8 to finish it off, it's fantastic. I've always been a HUGE Zaino guy, but I just ordered Blackfire Wet Diamond and the Passion Red 90 and the Sonic Blue R are getting full details from Dawn wash/Clay bar/polish/wax and Gloss Enhancer this week, I can't wait. I'll let you know how the Blackfire compares to the Z.

Re: (T5 for Life)

I have only used Zaino on my R - and last applied it last summer - and the car still shines like crazy after simply being washed.
Zaino IMO is well worth it.

Re: (Needsdecaf)

They seem to not ship it to New Jersey. It is weird. I just want to find it someplace and easily purchase
it but it is like pulling teeth from a smelly baboon
