I spent the weekend fixing up the plastic trim on my S60R and C30, and worked on the V70XC trim today. Used Forced5's trim dye yet again. I swear it gets better each time I use it! I didn't need to do the trim on the R again, but I just felt like hitting some of the spots I missed the first time around while I was working on the C30 trim. Neither the XC nor the C30 have had trim treatments until now. The XC trim is 11 years old and, from what I can tell, has never been treated - I think those pics will give a better idea as to the real power of this stuff! I was also tempted to do some HDR. Enjoy the pics!<p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/S60R%20C30%205-9-09/DSC00929.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/S60R%20C30%205-9-09/DSC00930.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/S60R%20C30%205-9-09/DSC00933.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/S60R%20C30%205-9-09/DSC00935.jpg" BORDER="0"><p>Before and after pics of the XC. I haven't put pics of the XC up since we've owned it, about 6 weeks now. It's 99,000 miles new and in absolutely fantastic condition for its age, even I was floored by it's still snappy performance, handling, and fantastic interior and exterior. <p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/V70XC%205-12-09/DSC00950.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/V70XC%205-12-09/DSC00949.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/V70XC%205-12-09/DSC00952.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/V70XC%205-12-09/DSC00953.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/V70XC%205-12-09/DSC00954.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/V70XC%205-12-09/DSC00951.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/V70XC%205-12-09/DSC00955.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/V70XC%205-12-09/DSC00957.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/V70XC%205-12-09/DSC00956.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/V70XC%205-12-09/DSC00958.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/V70XC%205-12-09/DSC00959.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/V70XC%205-12-09/DSC00960.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/V70XC%205-12-09/DSC00961.jpg" BORDER="0"><p>And...some HDR fun. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/cool.gif" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/HDR%20Photography/S60R%20C30/5-9-HDR-1.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/HDR%20Photography/S60R%20C30/5-9-HDR-2-Pure.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/HDR%20Photography/S60R%20C30/5-9-HDR-3.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj114/mentos2424/HDR%20Photography/S60R%20C30/5-9-HDR-4.jpg" BORDER="0">

There were just a couple spots I missed and wanted to touch them up. A lot of the dye you see is still from the original application. If it actually has faded, I certainly can't tell.<p>I put the dye on the C30 and XC honestly believing I would never have to do it again. When it comes to the R, I'm a little more picky and if it does fade, I will touch it up immediately lol.

This is an acceptable duration for dye effectiveness. I will try this product, thanks to you. Feel free to let them know and demand compensation. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0">

I was at an ikea meet a while back and and someone was selling their own dye product that I didn't have the money to buy at the time. Is this forced5?

I have had numerous requests for the dye in the last few days, but for those interested it's $8 via PayPal ([email protected]). Thanks... <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0">
