The stickers above the glovebox and the two inside the doors come off with no problem. With some work the stickers on the outside (visible when up) of the visor even come off.

Re: yellow air bag warning sticker above glove box (R-in-Albany)

Ack! Don't use a solvent! There was an article in BMW's Roundel about this. It used a hair dryer (gently!) to warm then remove. If I happen to find the article I'll post a link.
Oh, and I vaguely recall that I was able to get my dashboard sticker off while I was driving and heading down the road from the dealer's lot after picking up the car.

Re: yellow air bag warning sticker above glove box (blinky)

Dealer took mine off befroe it was delivered. It was the only part of the delivery that went right.....(forgotten spacers, bumper scrape, plastic still under the winshield washers..well you get the picture. He asked me to read it cause it would be the last time I saw it. If my dealer can take it off so can you. It will come off better at room temp. JMO.

Re: yellow air bag warning sticker above glove box (Wolf021)

The visor ones come off easier at room temp? The bimmerheads seemed to hold that a hair dryer helped. I tried mine just now w/o the hair dryer trick and I'm not able to peel up a corner. I don't want to leave a mark on the visor felt from scraping with my fingernail. Is there a trick to getting the edge up that someone can offer?

It should be very warm. Once it is warm use the edge of the credit card to lift a corner of the decal. Once the corner is lifted, place the credit card flat against the decal and with pressure slide the credit card in the direction of the decal peel. The decal transfers from the visor to the crdit card. I removed both decals within a half an hour.
You will notice where the decal was even when removed, but mine has been off for almost four months and you have to look had to see where they were. Good Luck. It's worth the effort.

Re: yellow air bag warning sticker above glove box (BigDog)

Looks like the Airbag Label on the rigid part of the visor (against the roof liner) is silk screened, though, so I think that one's staying. I'm going to try the other two using your hair dryer/credit card combo, BigDog.

Re: yellow air bag warning sticker above glove box (Pegleg)

I think you are correct. I left the out-of-sight decals on. Good Luck. BTW- you may want to use a clean set of mechanix gloves during the process. It does get pretty warm.

I hope removing the stickers doesn't come with the same penalties as removing a matress tag.
