I am thinking about getting XM for my car from this websitehttp://www.crutchfield.com/S-N...10175. Do I need a FM modulator?

Re: XM Radio Question (bopmychimbeech)

No you don't need a seperate modulator, but you can use one if you are unable to get a clear signal with the built in modulator. I have a similar xm radio in my S40 and I did not need the modulator......
Jeff

You might be OK in Palacios, but if you spend much time in Houston, you're going to need a modulator. Transmitters are virtually worthless here.
