It wouldn't let me reply to the other topic, so i made a new one....
I believe http://overboost.com just did a test on these lights, and they seemed happy with them. As far as the drls, xenon lights are suppose to last 10 times longer than standard bulbs, as well as run cooler and draw less electricity. The xenon shop said they are suppose to outlast the car. So I don't see any problem with using them as drls. I do love the parking light look with the fogs. I saw a new bmw 528I touring last night in greenville with that setup going, and the rings arround the headlight projectors were lit up w/o the lights being on and the fog lights on, it looked really awesome. I believe they are from the factory now. What about a dim light conversion like on the saab 95 when the parking lights are on? Having a dim light in the headlights, the parking lights on and have the fogs on full blast? Just an idea. Have thought about trying it on my car, but havn't gotten arround to figuring it out.

I'm talking to xenonshop right now about a set for the Project 850R. They look very interesting, and at $600 for a lowebeam setup, rather affordable. I just wonder how light dispersion will work using housings designed for conventional headlights.
