I just heard that there's a Stage 2 Xenon for S60 from hid4less.com and I was wondering if anybody know if it's reliable and safe? Any damage cause to the car if I install it? Does anybody know or heard of any news from Volvo if they will have a retrofit for the whole light housing so 2001 and 2002 models could have the new bi-xenon lights?

The only problem with those kits are minor I believe. In Europe they have auto leveling (believe that's found on most US cars as well wiht HID) to keep the lights from blinding people under load or when the front of the car is up for some reason or another. Your car obviously won't have that.

As for additional heat, I don't know. That'd be a question to throw at them though.

Next, on the upgrade from Volvo, I'd imagine you could buy all the parts, though that's probably going to cost you a whole lot, well over $1000 if I guess correctly. I think a low beam setup for the S60 is considerably less as I did price this out for my 850 at one time.
