When ordering my S80 AE, I asked for the Xenon headlights, but was told they wern't available for the US models. How come? Volvo is putting them on the German models as an option. My Audi A6 has them and it's a 1998 US model, and they are great! I understand some xenon headlight systems tend to be too bright and can blind an oncoming car. But Audi, MB, BMW, Ford, Opel, Porsche and others are all now offering the xenon system on there US models. Why not Volvo??? I would think the xenon systems must be perfected by now, and add a safely feature to every car.
