Wow! I have a buddy with 300k on his, and I thought he had the highest mileage V8. This just goes to show that if you care for them properly, these are awesome cars. That car even looks great just like most of them do that have been cared for.
Regarding the financing, that seems to me like a car someone would want to buy outright. I couldn't imagine financing a car with that many miles, and if you can't come up with $5000 to purchase the car, you're probably not prepared to own it when it comes to maintenance and unexpected repairs. If the transmission were to go, it could easily cost that much to replace, even if you went with a used unit from a junk yard!
