How "acurate" or "up-to-date" is this recall website?
http://www.ford.com/en/vehicle...t.htm
After reading on those recalls recently on this forum, I went to the above website to punch in my VIN number. No recall came up!
Would the dealership use the same database of the website to indentify any recall on my car? It would then be pointless to print out those recall posts from this forum and show them to my dealership, they won't acknowledge them.
Any thought?

Dealers have access to the system, but not owners or the general public.

The only recall listed on the website when I punched in my VIN is:
R84039 Vacuum routing label
Basically a sticker that I had to add near the vacuum routing area, and the dealer provided the sticker label... that was 3 years ago. Nothing else.

Seriously guys, that recall website is TOTAL Waste of bandwidth. I brought my 90 in the other day and they replaced the ball joints as part of the new campaign...That should have been listed too...
