Re: XC90 2.5T Lease Residuals? (drlonline)
If you do a search for "Residuals", you should find the following and other threads:
http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=5346&postid=32097#32097.
"On launch, the XC90 will have a 63% residual on 36 month leases, and that is with 15K miles allowed, not just 12K like the others. The residual becomes 65% if you only need 12K miles per year. The Spies believe this is a winning recipe to steal market share from the leaders in this pack."
For a 2.5T AWD, I also got the following figures from a dealer in my area:
12 K Miles: 63% for 36 mos. / 55% for 48 mos.
15 K Miles: 61% for 36 mos. / 53% for 48 mos.
For money factor, I have been quoted .00395 or about 9%. I have also seen the same residuals on the edmunds board with money factor around .00375 and .00365. (Of course, unless you are getting your XC-90 right now, the rates are going to be different a few months from now)
IMHO, the residuals I have seen are very good but the rate/money factor currently is way too high. I wonder if other companies like CHASE will have the same residuals but with better rates...
