I bought one a few weeks ago and I can attest to the seamlessness as well. I just hop into my car, get buckled in, and by the time car get settled in, the binging and bonging stops, Apple CarPlay is all ready to go.

 

I was in Sweden for the month of July visiting all the town/parishes/kyrka where my great grandparents lived and worked before emigrating to America in the late 1800's. We leased an XC 40-mild hybrid and drove 3,000 miles. I wish I had the Carlinkit Mini SE Wireless CarPlay Adapter!!

do apple and or google maps show up in the driver dash (display behind steering wheel) while using this?

Any idea if and how it handles two phones at once? Not connected at same time, but is it easy to switch between phones to be able to use this device?

I've ordered one anyhow, but was curious.

 

Initial connection is bluetooth until it switches to WiFi for CarPlay. As long as the the app is loaded on both phones it should work on both. If both phones are in the car at the same time only one phone will connect...if it's the wrong one, just go to Settings, Bluetooth and disconnect the app. You might have to go to the other phone and manually connect the bluetooth connection.

 

Ordered the Carlinkit MiNi SE Wireless Carplay Adapter for my 2019 XC60 via Amazon. Came in quickly. Super easy to set up, automatically connects to my iPhone 16 Pro Max and runs like a charm.
