Looking to buy a new or slightly used OEM car jack for my 1998 V70R. Don't ask how, but I bent the old one while changing the tire.
Please reply to the topic and I will be notified.

Great design that jack if it's the same as on my '99 C70.
Had the pleasure to use it alongside a main highway, under an overpass in the rain to chage a flat. If the car was on flat ground it's fairly stable but you scrape your knuckles on the ground as you crank it if your not carefull. No wonder you bent it, what happened to the stout design of the 1800/122 jacks? You want to make sure you don't touch the car while it's up on that *&^% get everything you need out of the car FIRST before you jack it up. and get the good wheel back on ASAP. I'm going to look for another 1800 jack or something similar and modify it!

I wholeheartedly agree. It baffles me why a company so built on safety would design a jack that will drop the car in a heartbeat if a semi drives too close while you're changing the tire. I've had two cars drop, the 99S70 of my niece's and my 93 850 too.
