Hello all, I am looking for a few things to freshen up my T5.
I need 1 Perfo 16" wheel, one of mine is badly dented.
I need a new set of speakers for my car. I have the SC901 and factory amp if that makes a difference.
Most of my door speakers are blown and my rear deck speakers have seen better days.
I need a shifter knob button for an automatic. I have the SE model with the woodgrain trim. However, I suspect all the automatic buttons are the same.
I think that is the majority of it for the moment, unless someone has a good deal on some silicon vacuum hoses. I am pretty sure I can get the hoses I need on ebay for around 30ish. Going to check more on that this weekend.
I am located in Nova Scotia, so Canadian goods are always better (I.E. cheaper) for me. But not required.
Thanks,
Randy

I have all the speakers that you would need. Also, I have upgraded sets if you are interested - MbQuart PCE-216 components etc. Also, if you need anything else for your x70 I have a complete car

I have dash, front door & rear door speakers from a 98 V70 T5. All working! Though you might do better with the MB Quarts...

Re: (ViriiGuy)

I'll let the Quarts go for $120 shipped. Its a 3 piece component set up.
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com...13544

Re: (Boomin850)

Sounds pretty good. Do you happen to have more speakers? Like a set for the rears as well?

Re: (ViriiGuy)

I have a aet of component kick pods with direct audio speakers, and a few sets of diamond audio 5.25s bnib. The kicks are the best bet, but expensive at $280 shipped. They really sound better than anything i've heard in doors though

Re: (Boomin850)

Ok, what I have currently in my car is a stock, mid range setup.. as I have been told. I have the factory AMP that comes in a T5, but do not have Dolby with the center channel.
I like to thump a bit, but not excessively. I don;t want to set off car alarms or anything, just want to feel my music when I am going 180 down the highway. The factory speakers work fairly well for me, except that I am blowing them, little by little. Both fronts are toast. The rears prolly will be before long.
I am considering replacing the 2 8 inch shelf speakers with a single sub connected to my 1000W amp. So I want to replace the factory door speakers and the tweets with a mostly drop in solution. I know any speakers other than factory will take a small bit of work. But I don;t want to spend a large chunk of change, as I am also currently doing a lot of other mechanical work to the car.
I am looking to spend around $200ish for the interior speakers. So what I may do is just take the MB Quarts for the time being and see how that sounds. Will the quarts go into the original speaker housings fairly easily? And will they work well with the factory T5 Amp?
Thanks
Randy

Re: (ViriiGuy)

Here are the kick pods I was talking about...

Go by your feet for a better front stage. As for the Quarts and working with the stock amp, I'm sorry but I really can't advise too much on it since I've always run them with my RAA4200 MbQuart amp. I also have a complete set of rear shelf speakers and front speakers. I could do the Quarts, and the rear stockers for $180 shipped. So you get the complete component set and an extra set of rear 8's

Re: (Boomin850)

Well, I was out at our Futureshop today and got a really good deal. Got some Alpine 6.5's for 85 bucks. So I bought those for the front doors. And next week I am buying some Infinity 5's for the back doors. But thanks anyway Boomin.
