Yes they use adonized hats.

T6-6061 5000tons cold forged aluminum.

They use the largest aluminum hat possible, for the maximum reduction in unsprung weight.

Reduced weight/rotating mass...typcially a few pounds so a bit more acceleration, a bit easier to stop since less rotating mass..

It would be alot less rotating mass. Say the rotors are 5lbs lighter. Then you times that by 3 i beleave it is. So it's like there is 15lbs less for the motor to move on each corner.

Scott, you said these are a front upgrade in your title... would they not fit the rears as well on the R's?

Rear's require a different application due to the internal retarded Parking brake.

I already went for lightweight wheels...plus my rotors won't pass inspection...

Plus they look badass.

Not here, $1600 for 4 rotors of stock size would be too pricey for me to justify.
