There is a 1999 v70r for sale local to me for $1600 obo, but it needs a new driver front CV axle, the trans will not go into reverse, and has some damage to the pass rear of the car. I have always wanted a V70R but dont have a whole lot of time to do the repairs, mabe two days max in total, as I am on vacation until friday. I have been lurking on here for quite some time trying to pick up info on buying a s60r or v70r.
Here are a few questions for you guys.

Is it worth buying?

Can I use a trans out of a XC?

How much can I potentially get out of the car if I have to part it out?

Is it a quick job to change out the driver front CV axle so that I can at the very least drive it home to get a new trans into it?

Thanks for your time guys!

So i just found out that the chassis has 310,000 on it. So it looks like I am going to have to pass on this one... but the rear damage is just a tail light that is broken. The inside is in decent shape and there are no rips in the interior.
Im going to post this in the classified section and mabe some one will grab it and part it out as I dont have the room to do it.
