it doesnt seem to be hurting anything, though it looks like one has been repaired before, i dont really know what to call it other than the little brace that secures the turbo pipe. It seems to be broken...


this Is a picture of the other one thats looking alittle sketchy to me

so would you maybe recommend this for me? just unscrew them all together?
yeah you could do that, when I did my 16T swap (on my old 2008 2.5T) I had to remove the screws holding it in place and never had issues, i don't really know why Volvo put them there in the first place...sometimes they end up actually cracking the pipe itself when they break off.

I think to keep the OTE pipe in a "uniform shape." I can't speak for Volvo though. The heat can warp the hose slightly. Which I guess is a problem? I dunno. All I know is I didn't bolt the one back up (I guess I forgot) and now it doesn't quite get there.

But then again that's just what I figure and what I learned about the plastic/rubber hosing from my Z's turbo.
