I just picked up an XC 90 with 21" wheels, and I'm planning out what I need for winter tires. I'm thinking of dropping down to an 18" wheel. These are the wheels I'm looking at:

Currently I'm on 275/40-21", and am planning on 255/60-18". It looks like everything should work out on paper:

Before I make the decision, will 18" wheels fit? Anyone have other advice I should consider?

235/60r18 the correct size for the 18” wheels. 235/55r19 for the 19” wheels. I had 18” and loved the comfort and the price compared to the 20”.

I’m definitely liking the reduced cost on 18” tires, and the idea of a higher profile in the winter. Will the 18” wheels fit over the brakes with adequate clearance on a 2024 Recharge? My biggest worry is ordering rims and they won’t fit.
