I think the stock GLT 15" steel rims are the best for winter. Fairly norrow profile too. Also surprisingly light.

Actually you said you have a "R" wagon. I'd check the clearence on those front calipers before buying 15" wheels. Maybe 16"'s?

205-50-16 is stock 95 turbo size, i had some michelin pilot alpins (those sips really chew up stones =)...they get stuck in pretty good). in those size b4 got large brakes and couldn't use those anymore. maybe ur owner's manual will say something about winter sizes...

I guess the reason that I really want to know if this will work is, I already have the wheels in that size, and have a set of Blizzak's in 205/55-16 that came off an Audi? Anyone else have any insight?<BR>Thanks
