After I raise and lower the top, I never know if I will get a gap between the window & the seal.
I took it to a shop & the window was perfectly flush. Two days later after having the top down, there was a sizable gap between the window & rubber seal.
I've found when I close the door, if I lightly press the glass I get a good seal.
Naturally it shouldn't have to happen that way.
Is this problem the window regulator?

thx

Post some pictures, "sizeable gap" to me is something you could fit a finger through. If it just leaks water and/or makes noise, you might only need an adjustment to the window stops. But definitely take it to someone with talent when you do get it worked on, as these are reportedly finicky and really hard to dial in right.

Im having the SAME problem. When i push the door down as i close it, it seals perfectly. Im thinking about putting a shim in the door hinge. If that doesn't work, do i have to remove the door panel to set the window bumpers?
