Been reading this board for awhile and haven't seen any comments on wind noise. My take has been that the wind noise, from the closed sunroof, driver and passenger side windows, is excessive for a car in this class. Is this a common complaint for S60s and if so is there something that can be done to alleviate this problem?

What are you driving - a 2001 or a 2002 S60.

Some people have noticed a difference and to be honest, while having my 2002 S60 AWD serviced a couple weeks ago, they gave me a 2001 2.4T S60 as a loaner and there was way more wind noise on it than on my car. Don't know if this was me dreamin' but just telling what I found. I heard the windnoise mostly to the right of me, I thought it was coming from the sunroof...

Overall, my S60 seems pretty quiet for windnoise....

I have a 2001 S60 T5 with the Tethys 17" wheels. I complained once when in for service and they mentioned that the wind noise was common in this car, but they did make some adjustments that seemed to make it better, although recently it has gotten worse again. If it is an issue they addressed in the 2002 model my hope would be there would be a fix for 2001 models?

I have a 2002 S60 AWD, and was rather impressed with how quite the cabin actually is with everything closed.

Wind noise is a pretty relative thing. Often, the amount of wind noise that you experience is based on what you were previously driving.

Having said that, I found that there is currently more wind noise in my S60 (1 year old on July 25) than when I first took delivery.

Also, I think that in its class, it is a bit excessive.
