Re: Will the new S60 "freshened" headlight fit the S60R (JRL)

I asked because I did not know. Why won't it fit, the same shape and size is it not?

P.S. I was going to email you this question. Is Silver paint easy or hard to blend when doing bodywork. Long story told short I bought back my Silver XC70 a week ago and my really hot girlfriend got T boned in some parking lot

Thank you crankmaster

No Stagger Lee (grateful dead song) I am mad

The question is can silver (not electric silver) be blended

She was T boned because it was a T impact in a parking lot right on her port side passenger rear door

Like I said I sold the car and bought it back because she wanted it back

Actually a Mississippi John Hurt blues classic but one covered by the Dead among many others. You get a cookie anyway. http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

Silver can be blended better than darker colors (less fading) depending on the size of the area in my experience, but if you have to replace two doors it's probably going to show if the whole car isn't painted.

You could probably get away with painting the entire side instead of the car if you're paying since there won't be any large immediately adjacent panels (esp. on a wagon hatch with the tall tail lights) to show the difference.

She was T boned ...

That was a joke (a bad one). Kind of glad you didn't get it.

Re: Will the new S60 "freshened" headlight fit the S60R (ljjones)

Her port side and guess what $2000 in damage

The body shop said that the bastard that hit her may have bad insurance and give a door skin

When some ass hits you, you are never made whole

You have to negotiate to get screwed and your car looses value

I sold the car and bought it back 6 days prior to it getting hit in the port rear passenger door

They have to blend the front door

I guess the positive is I have 3 Volvos again but http://********************/smile/emthdown.gif

Why can you not get the best repairs and the guilty should pay for the best fix. No their insurance company decides you should have a crap repair

Why does the victim not have rights?
