My wife calls me on her way to work today and tells me while she was driving, the car made this weird grinding noise the exclamation point came on and the car said anti skid/ ABS needs service now.
She pulled over shut the car off restarted it and it then said shutting off ABS
I know a few people here have gotten the anti skid message. Anyone ever see shutting off ABS?
If the pads are worn then that is the wear sensor on the back of the pad that is sending that info.

And if that "mechanical scraper" is exposed or jarred this would cause the code. At least in my case it did.

Par for the course with Kline Volvo in Minnesota. Even when they offer FREE advice they are still full of $hit.

Well 3 weeks after getting it back wife calls me this morning on her way to work and she is telling me she has the exact same message I call the dealer and they tell me to let it sit for 30 minutes then start it and see what it says
Although this is par for the course since it usually takes 2 trips to get stuff fixed.
