We are excited to announce that we are now stocking Wide Angle Mirrors for the driver and passenger side of your 2011+ Volvo S60/V60 and 2012+ Volvo S80s. These have been extremely popular with the older P80 and P2 Platform so we decided it was time to bring a set to the market for your vehicles.

Quality: These mirrors are OEM like fitment and quality. There is no need to modify or alter the lens or the mirror housing to install. The Wide Angle Mirrors are the same as the OEM mirrors including all mounting and heating elements.

Ease of Installation: I had these mirrors on the car and dialed in in less than 5 minutes. I used an Automotive Trim Removal Tool to pry off the mirrors, lined up the white tabs and pressed the mirror on.

These Mirrors allow for a more generous field of view while driving. You are able to see more of your blind spots versus with an OEM "flat" mirror. Maybe your old glass is broken or you want to upgrade to a set of Euro Spec Wide Angle mirrors, these would be the ones to upgrade too.

I understand that the P3 market is very small, however, I was able to get similar mirrors for my VW GTI (with a great blue tint to reduce headlight glare and the heating element) for $50 a pair. $80 each is a little rich considering that the passenger mirror on NA market cars is already convex and a UK-market driver-side mirror can be had for cheap (http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthread.php?310385-Side-mirror-blind-spots).

I'd love to support you guys, but not at $160 for a pair of mirrors.

Hi Deaks,

Thank you for your interest. I can help explain some of this. VW can certainly make their parts cheaper as they produce and sell more VW's a year than Volvo. New OEM NA glass is close to $200 at full retail of course can be found cheaper from various places with some savvy price shopping. European glass is priced similarly plus the added shipping costs to bring to the United States not including any import fees and taxes. We tried our best to the best pricing due to all those factors. I can certainly go back and crunch some numbers to see if any additional discounts can be had for these mirrors. Thank you for your feedback.

I"m having a hard time using the photos to see how the wide angle mirror helps.
Agreed. Perhaps shooting the same field of view with the same objects in it with both OEM and wide angle glass for a side-by-side comparison would be helpful?
