I would like to share with the SS family my road trip to Whistler BC Canada. It was about 150 km drive from Vancouver. Let me say that the reconstructed "Sea to Sky Highway" is the best highway I have ever driven in my life. Freshly paved roads, beautiful ocean view and the best part was twisty, turns, and curves the whole way there. There was not one stretch of straight road more than 1km. With the car lowered, IPD anti-sway bar, EST front strut bar, and wide tires, it was so much fun. The one thing that disappointed me was the Volvo seats not really keeping you tight and locked in. That really took away from the feel of a nice handling car. Here are the pictures!
Quick Stop at Sqaumish for a pee break.

Lovin the 3.75" tips and AJ's Spoiler

Stayed in the heart of Whistler Village. On "seats keeping you tight and locked in"...
Though not of huge help, the "poor man's racing harness" helps. Buckle your belt with your seat ever so slightly further back than the ideal position, give the shoulder strap a quick jerk to lock it against the stop, hold it there and then slide your seat back to it's ideal position. This will keep the belt locked in the mechanism and go a long way to keep you tight. You'll have to slide the seat back again to unlock it, if done right.

The other thing I've done in cars that don't have tight seats is to twist the seat belt buckle around two or three times before buckling it in. Makes for a snug fit.

I will update the thread soon.
USAF: Vancouver is quite multi cultural. I am asian and i don't feel like minority at all . It's quite a shame that you had to move away from Vancouver. A lot has changed in the city especially when we knew the olympics is coming.

The rims are Hyper Silver and polished lip no chrome . Anywaz still contemplating if I should matte black the rims with time attack yellow racing strip. If i do that, it might set off the chrome tips which then I might have to replace . Still brain storming.

great pics! I visited Vancouver BC last month and really loved it! It's a very beautiful city. Much cleaner and prettier than Seattle and Portland. Traffic was not as bad either!

Next time you should hit up Whistler and check the place out before the Olympics come. It's nice that Vancouver is seen as a world class city.
