Ok, so I have everything set I just don't have a spot to mount the new phuzzy tcv. It does not have a backing mount like the stock unit, instead there is nothing. So where do you position the new TCV?Thanks!

Mount it here:

Seriously, Jeff (soupandspoons), a respected member in the R has indicated the following:

According to the MAC data sheet for the 35 series valves, the operating range is 0*F to 120*F (-18*C to 50*C). I wouldn't put the valve too close to the engine/turbo, or you'll definitely be exposing it to temperatures well above that range.
See: http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthread.php?168571-Strange-Boost

It's only a matter of time before the phuzzy TCV fails.

Well I am thinking about doing so. I went for a drive and went to do the "re-learning" procedure which is half throttle till 30 mph then full throttle to 60. Welp my car boost spiked and went into limp mode..... I 100% followed instructions and correctly re-lined the hoses.

Anybody else have this happen?

Oh by boost spike I mean my car's cbv purged at 3k rpms in 3rd gear then no power.... limp

And you're certain you put the hoses on the right ports?

I followed the guide on Phuzzy's website
http://www.phuzzymotorsports.com/guides/HDTCV_Installation.pdf

I marked the unit with W/T/V and marked the vacuum lines the same way, I'll have to double check my work once again. What should be the correct reaction? Lol, so far I've only felt the "wrong reaction"

I hope I didn't break anything, it sounded like I was in an evo with a blow off valve!

I used 3M two-sided tape and stuck it to the firewall on the passenger side.

this actually works? i was gonna make a bracket and mount it there too.

Yeah, it works great actually. That tape is strong...I'll probably have trouble getting it off if I ever need to remove it.

You'll just hear a small vibration in the cabin when revving at idle. No biggie...doesn't bother me at all.

just hit it with a heat gun or hair dryer to remove it.

hmmm i will have to monitor mine. i will let you guys know if i have any problems. iv had my phuzzy tcv installed for about 2-3 months now and the ambient temp outside has been 80F-115F everyday, so far i have not had any problems and i do alot of long distance driving so im more then sure it gets hott under my hood. i have the TCV mounted on the outer bottom pssangerside frame of the enginebay behind the motor, away from moving parts and high up away from the ground.

Can someone confirm this ? (Someone with the Phuzzy TCV)
I have port 1 venting to Intake, port 3 aka middle port to the turbo, and port 2 to wastegate.
Is that right ?

After a total of 8 hours of work (between yesterday and today) I thought for a brief moment I could have messed up and swapped two lines. Gave her a run and still the same result, limp.

Welp after paying 16$ for shipping and handling, waiting 2 1/2 weeks for me to receive it because he uses parcel post then having it not work is just blah. Enough of my bad news at least my car didn't break :p

Damn, man. I'm not 100% sure, but sounds to me that maybe your alternator is on its way out. That could explain the limp mode problem as well. 12 psi sounds unusually high for a stock tune. If I was in your position, I would take it in...but that's just me. I don't like to dick around to try and troubleshoot sh1t on these quirky cars. I let the experts do it.

any ideas?

Did you try disconnecting the battery for a while, and touching the leads together to reset the ECU? I think you need to hold them together for a few minutes to reset. Worth a shot at this point...
