I just purchased an 02 S40 with 38K from eBay. While reading the owner's manual, I noticed that the radio code is needed should the battery ever become disconnected. Where can I get this info?... dealer?... web?

Dealer, only the dealer. The older Volvo's had it printed in the maual. Do you plan on removing the radio in the near future?

Re: (Copeland)

No need to right now, but if it's like my Mercedes, you need it whenever the battery is disconnected. Since I do a lot of maintenance on my cars, that'll be fairly often.

As JRL stated in another post, call your local Volvo dealer at thier parts dept and they should be able to walk you through it over the ohone. Once you get the number make sure you right it down and keep it handy, especially if you do alot of work on your car.
Best of luck
-Cope
