Hello, I need to replace the Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor (MAP) on my Xc60 and I have scavenged the web trying to find where it’s located with no success. I know near the intake manifold or throttle body is where it's often located but I can't distinguish which plug it is. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Thank you! I will check that tonight and let you know if I have any luck. I took my car in to get the motor mounts replaced and shortly after it began misfiring. Upon taking it to my normal mechanic they found that the last shop which did my mounts had broken the sensor connector and then left it unplugged, and tucked the connector behind the intake manifold according to my shop. So no issues on the sensor itself just some dumb shop trying to hide their mistake.

You need connector 9441821 and 4 of 30656688 repair terminals. The connector might come with the 4 pig tail wires installed, order the 4 wires anyway. All 4 wires will be Red. Solder in one wire at a time. 7/165 is the sensor. Wiring diagram for 7/165 and Volvo wire color code if needed. The wiring in PDF if needed to save and print a copy.

That is the boost sensor, not map sensor, it’s connected to the front mount intercooler, there is no way the sensor connector will reach up by the intake manifold to “tuck” away… the MAP sensor is pn# 30731372 and connected to the intake manifold on the left side, hard to miss..
