When was stability control (not just traction control) available in the S80?
Was it in both the n/a and turbo models?
Is there an easy way to tell it is so equiped (button, switch, etc)?

Thanks,
Erik

If the car has DSTC, it should have a button for it.

It became available in MY1999 for both S80 variants. You will know by taking a look at below the HVAC controls; a button labeled "DSTC" should be there. Otherwise, it would be labeled "STC"...

No problem. I believe options like DSTC and Nav were pretty rare in '99, especially so on a 2.9. I know my dad's was an oddball special order car for an executive at Lincoln. Really, the only way I think you'll find it in one of those cars is a special order situation.

DSTC wasn't exactly rare but RTI was (I've got both on my '99 T6 since I did a factory pickup).
