I have 3 sets of wheels, I was completely shocked the difference or lack thereof as far weight v size goes.

Rim, Size, Tire, Tire, Size, Wear height, Total Weight

Winter: OEM Pegasus, 17, Blizzak WS70, 245/45/17, 6/32nds = 45.1 lbs
Summer: OEM Pegasus, 18, Michelin PS4s, 235/40/18, 9.5/32nds = 45.2
Summer: OEM Polestar, 20, Michelin PS4s, 245/35/20 8.5/32nds = 50.1 lbs

Really shocked by the winters weight and how the P 20's are only 5lbs heavier.

Volvo alloys have always weighed a tonne. Even those ones prone to bending. The alloys on my Porsche or the Saabs I have had were probably 75% of the weight, maybe more.

Cheers,

Bill

Not sure about that, the S7's setups are 19 winters which is around 50 lbs and the Rs7 21 Blades are 62 lbs a pop! Vw/Audi/Porsche have a long way to go for sure!
