Hello all. Tried a search but didn't come up with anything regarding fitting the 18" Pegasus wheels to a `06 V70R. The R brochure lists the 18 as an available accessory for the S60R but not the V70. I don't see why they wouldn't fit but there's probably an obvious difference somewhere that I'm missing. I'd like to put summer rubber on the 18's and leave the snows on the 17's. Anyone know if 18's will fit the wagon?

Thanks,
John

Re: wheel question (jmmartin155)

Yes, they fit just fine...

You can even run 20" rims if you want.

The reason Volvo doesn't sell them is the load rating on the 17" Pirellis is 97, for the 18" it is only 95.

Honestly, lots of people run 18" rims on the Wagon (check http://www.tirerack.com), there are plenty of 18" tires available with 95 sidewall ratings which should is plenty (1521 x 4 = 6084 max gross weight).

Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 95Y $203

Pirelli PZero Rosso 95Y $229
Yokohama ADVAN sport 95Y $236

Ultra High Performance Summer

Re: wheel question ("R" Kelly)

Thanks, R-Kelly for the confirmation.

I would usually go with steel wheels on snows but since you can't get them for the R, I figured I'd put what I would have spent on a winter tire and wheel combo and apply it toward 18" Pegs. Thanks again for the info.
