Tried to do a search for this info in the forum, but came up empty -
what's the torque spec for wheels? I'm bringing them to my local service station to have the winter wheels rotated off to summer wheels, and want to give them the recommended torque.
Thanks for your help

I just rotated my tires last weekend.
There is no way you can break loose 102 ftlbs with that short little lug wrench they give you. God forbid I actually get a flat tire.

Or carry a portable compressor with impact wrench in the trunk.

Re: (autoduel)

I said the same thing two weeks ago after changing my brakes.
I don't know what not so nice guy at Volvo of Danbury torqued my wheels bolts on, but I think the impact wrench he used was set to torsional failure test mode.
It took a 4 foot breaker bar to loosen the bolts and it BENT the stock lug wrench.
I told my wife if she gets a flat, just call Volvo care, don't even bother trying herself.
