I purchased my last set of tires at Sears and made a nasty error. Never leave your Locking Lug Nuts on the vehicle when you have service done. I finally got around to pulling my 18" Pegs out of the closet and found the lugs were a little over-torqued. I have never seen a lug wrench bend like that. After having a hell of a time getting two wheels changed I went to the third and found my Lug Key was stripping. I was able to get the third wheel off, but that was it. The key was ruined. <p>I contacted the manufacturer (McGard) and they had me take pictures of the Lug Pattern and they are sending me another key. $14.95 isn't too bad, and I hope it works. I should have known this could happen. I don't know if I will be putting any locking lugs back on. I also don't think I will have any service done at Sears again. Why do I always learn the hard way?
