I sprayed wheel cleaner on my wheels (Medea's) before I went through the car wash. I knew the wheels were warm, but didn't think anything would go wrong since I was driving straight into the car wash. Unfortunately the wheel cleaner left a spider web imprint in my wheels. It looks like it ate through the paint of the wheel. You can't see the markings until you are very close to the wheels, but I know the marks are there. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything I can do to get rid of the marks?

Re: Wheel Cleaner (HuskerFan)

I would try a mild abrasive polish, something that is used to remove light swirls from paint. I only use Sonus polishes so I would try SFX-2, but there are others products which are comparable.
