I'm gonna say angle gear. Check the level every oil change. Being wet under there isn't a huge issue... It's a 5 cylinder AWD Volvo... When it starts getting on the driveway that is when it is time to reseal.
Sorry... I should have prefaced this... Just did a PCV job (posted on here) and that is all residual from a power steering leak and a bad PCV... was really just wondering about that bushing... so there is nothing that mounts there?
