George,
The BSR stage 3 is a 315hp 330 ft/lb kit. The boost is limited to 10psi in 1st and at every shift it backs off the power until the next gear is engaged. That is a really wierd feeling at first, but I'm used to it now. The response, drivability and power are fantastic. I have even seen a 2-3 mpg increase on the highway if my foot is not into it.
BSR is the largest tuner in Eastern Europe. They have been tuning cars since 1985. Thier website is http://www.bsrab.se/
They should have the English version of the site up in a week or two. They really know thier stuff but have not broken into the U.S. market, yet. I am going to start distributing these parts in the U.S. so I may inquire about some advertising on your site.
They tune Volvo, Saab, VW, Audi and others on request.
The S3 kit consists of:
A 3" stainless downpipe and cat then 2.5" sport exhaust.
High flow air filter (either open or panel) I have the panel since it is so hot in Phoenix
Eprom
Rising rate fuel pressure regulator.
And should be emissions legal.
His German dealer MR Sweden Motorsport, Marcus Reuman has the same car and set up as mine and he reported a top speed of 274 km/h or 170 mph! Not bad for a 4 door sedan!
Well I should take some pics of the car and post them. The next upgrade I am going to do is a Volvo racing 320mm brake and caliper kit, my brakes are worn and really starting to warp as they all do.
Sorry to use up the bandwith but please e mail me if you would like more details or would to test any of these items, I think we could work something out.
Regards,
Rich Stephenson
P.S BSR means (Bil Specialisten Racing)or car specialist racing
