Well I've just started work on it but the other halfof my garage has the remains of a 85 fiero that is being stripped down to build a Ferrari 355 Spider with what ever spare time I can find and money of course.

quote:
So what do you 850 fans have alongside your 850's? whatever it may be?
[/B]

I wish I had a garage as nice as yours to keep my vehicles! I only have two spots in front of my townhome for my vehicles. I'm an 850 fan, but have a V70R in one spot and a Ford Focus (wife's car) in the other. In between the two I have my 97 Kawasaki ZX-6. What a pain in the butt to do any kind of work on my vehicles and to keep them clean. Oh how I can't wait to get a garage. I told my wife that I would never leave.

My garage is filled mostly with my dad's Porsche speedster kit car (unbuilt, body in the loft and '65 Beetle chassis down below). It's moving soon, so I'll finally have a place to work on my car. The gravel driveway in front of the house was adequate, but uncomfortable, so I'm looking forward to a smooth concrete floor to work on.

George~ My wife drives the 850 too... I tool around in the Eurovan and LOVE IT. It was a great viewpoint for the short skirts and loose blouses of Summer....
So does anyone have side by side 850's?
I would have gotten another EV but she did not want to drive one daily.

Well, we folks in Hong Kong don't have the luxury of having garage next to our homes. I am lucky enough that my parents have a townhouse which can park 3 cars outside and 2 more parking spaces within the complex. My dad has a '93 Porsche 911 3.6 turbo, '97 Infiniti Q45. My mom has a '99 Maserati 3200GT and a '00 Subaru Forester. And I have my '00 Subaru B4 RSK.

Terence~ no garage??!?!? Oh man....
Seriously nice family fleet - I saw pics somewhere on here once of your present car. Did you have a wild 850 at one time?
http://hometown.aol.com/tlui99/auto.html
Have you heard of a place called skigi? It's a fish market the size of RI and I think it was in HK?

In addition to my BSR stage 3 850R I have a 90 BSR equipped 765T. I also have a 1986 Suzuki RG500 Gamma 4cyl 2 stroke grand prix bike and a 2000 Suzuki TL100R superbike. I think I may need a larger garage.

Okay, they aren't both mine, but they look so nice together! The white one is Mark's and the red one is mine.
Prospero
http://555.itgo.com/1_1_P7210010.htm

In another life, that white one was Terrence's. Hey Thor's Hammer, tell me more about your 850. I'm not familiar with the BSR Stage III setup. How much hp, and have you had any tranny probs?
George

Oh yeah, I forgot. There's a newest member of the family, but it doesn't fit in the garage. It's a 1990 245. It ain't fast, or sexy, but it's paid for and has about as much room in the back as that Eurovan. There are also plans to dump a turbo motor in it (if this one ever dies, so that could take a while with only 197K on the clock).
The Golf BTW is now on 17" wheels, with a Stage I APR chip (195hp, 240 lb. ft. of torque), and is soon to receive a sport suspension (it sorely needs). I also have fitted GTI seats in it and will be converting the entire interior to black at some point (long and daunting task that will do little more than make it look cool to me).

George,
The BSR stage 3 is a 315hp 330 ft/lb kit. The boost is limited to 10psi in 1st and at every shift it backs off the power until the next gear is engaged. That is a really wierd feeling at first, but I'm used to it now. The response, drivability and power are fantastic. I have even seen a 2-3 mpg increase on the highway if my foot is not into it.
BSR is the largest tuner in Eastern Europe. They have been tuning cars since 1985. Thier website is http://www.bsrab.se/
They should have the English version of the site up in a week or two. They really know thier stuff but have not broken into the U.S. market, yet. I am going to start distributing these parts in the U.S. so I may inquire about some advertising on your site.
They tune Volvo, Saab, VW, Audi and others on request.
The S3 kit consists of:
A 3" stainless downpipe and cat then 2.5" sport exhaust.
High flow air filter (either open or panel) I have the panel since it is so hot in Phoenix
Eprom
Rising rate fuel pressure regulator.
And should be emissions legal.
His German dealer MR Sweden Motorsport, Marcus Reuman has the same car and set up as mine and he reported a top speed of 274 km/h or 170 mph! Not bad for a 4 door sedan!
Well I should take some pics of the car and post them. The next upgrade I am going to do is a Volvo racing 320mm brake and caliper kit, my brakes are worn and really starting to warp as they all do.
Sorry to use up the bandwith but please e mail me if you would like more details or would to test any of these items, I think we could work something out.
Regards,
Rich Stephenson
P.S BSR means (Bil Specialisten Racing)or car specialist racing

Thors H~ not too worry about wasting bandwidth.. I was also wondering about that S3 kit as are others I'm sure. I've got the IPD ECU and exhaust and am really interested in a bigger downpipe as the next mod. I'll keep an eye out on that english site's arrival. Can you give us a price on just the 3" DP???

Thor's Hammer, like he said.... that's no waste of bandwidth. We're quite curious about it.
I've heard that 300hp is about as high as you want to go on that tranny, so anything near it like BSR and IPD (rated with exhaust just below 300) both seem to dial back the power at shift points. It seems the prudent thing to do in order to keep the tranny happy.
Good luck with your business. That's fantastic, and we'd love to have you as an advertiser. As for our 850R, I'll have to review it. I'm definitely curious, but the future of the project (we have a few more articles yet to run) may be limited. We'll be putting the car up for sale in a few weeks and unless someone buys it and is a) local to me and thus accessible for photo shoots, and b) interested in continuing the project, that particular project series may soon be coming to a conclusion.

Love the posters on the walls!
Well here we go, the garage is 600 square feet, over sized door, carpet on one side for the T-5R, 7000lb above ground Hofmann Duolift car hoist, 60 gallon 6.5hp compressor with 10ft steel top bench. Walls covered in posters and plates. Up until this spring I had my first car in the spare spot a modified 83 Trans - Am with a 327 Chev engine sold it, now 3 snomobiles are over in that spot, 2002 Artic Cat ZR800 Cross Country 146HP & 120+MPH, 1999 Artic Cat Sno Pro 440 100HP 100+MPH, 1992 Polaris 440 and a double sled trailer. Outside sit the 87 740 sedan and the 88 240 wagon. I am out of space need to expand and remember, Guy with the most toys at the end wins!
Sean

Well this weekend we have few rides of our own parked on my driveway and in my garage.
First we have Matt's (Prospero) all red 850 turbo with 190K+ miles, Titian wheels, and lots power to the pavement. (The rest upgraded goodies remain as a secret)
Then we have Mark's (Papaya) 1995 white 850 turbo with 16T turbo, ATR downpipe and race cat, 2.5" catback, Volan wheels, one of first few most modified 850s out there.
My trusty 240 with wheels off Mark's 850, and the full suspension deal. Oh, and the Recaro seat. Not a fast car at all, but sure cuts through the corners effortlessly.
Finally, we have my C70. Don't have much to say about it. It's just there!
That was some scene...the neighbors must think we are some kinda Volvo fantics. Are we??
