So my R is stock, and I want nothing more then to start modding it, I've wanted to since before I got it. I already have my full list of mods, prices, exc. However, I'm no rich man, I can't do them all at once as much as I would like. So here is the question? What would you do in my situation, I'm able to set aside about $100 or so a month for my mod fund. Would you a.) save for a few months and buy a small mod, such as a small aesthetic/performance upgrade (silicon hosing, metal pedals, AMS, trunk lid spoiler, exc.) which range up to about $400 and below, or b.) Save for about a year and get a big upgrade (Full exhaust system and chip, full body kit, breaks, wheels, exc.)? I'm just torn, I'm a very patient person, however, I've got to admit, I'm REALLY burning to get my gal classed up

So which would you do and why?

The American way. Delayed gratification? What's that?

I'd go with a Downpipe first! Go with the Phuz product...cheaper than the rest and really good! And it REALLY does that much for the whole car.

I agree....and work out that PhMIC at the same time, you get a good price for a good product. If you have plenty of patience, you can do the saving of 100/month or do the China idea which may help build some credit if needed.

Also, check the classifieds, some parts come up there used and in decent condition, the only thing out of all the mods you would have to purchase brand new is a tune.

Had a good laugh at this because it's so true. Miss a payment for any reason and suddenly you'll be paying 20% interest. Be patient.

IPD track sways and endlinks first. Not so spendy. Save up. TME catback exhaust and DP would be on my list. IPD software upgrade next.

Re: (TWMn)

lol, I'm not getting a Phuz FMIC, nor any IPD products
. Like I said, I've got my mod list, thats not the question, and the car is still under warranty, plus like I said, this is $100 extra, I have "accident" money to lol, though lets hope I don't have to use it for my R. Sounds like everyone is pretty unanimous, so I'll be saving for an exhaust and chip to start!
