I've just recently bought a '00 V70 2.4 n/a, and I'm planning for some mods. I've already ordered a set of 17" wheels with 215/45 rubber.

Next I need a suspension, for stiffer handling, and for the looks of course http://********************/smile/emsmile.gif I've looked thru some manufacturers, and there seems to be plenty of options.. So I'm in dire need of opinions and recommendations. Eibach would seem to be a safe choice, but I'm uncertain about the amount of drop. They lower about 30mm, seems a bit small drop to me.. (heh, used to have a slammed mk3 golf before) Also, I found FK suspensions (http://www.fk-automotive.com/en/), they have a 60/40mm set with shocks, for a decent price too. Any word on these?

It'd be great to see some picts of v70 Volvos, or links to, with some info about the springs used. Also, the springs i get should have a tüv approval, because of the regulations here in Finland.. Well, thanks in advance for any tips I might get http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

Brr, cant wait for the summer to come, few days ago it was -37 degrees celcius below zero.. Just a few months more.. http://********************/smile/emsmile.gif

Re: What suspension to get? (Teemu)

Hey Teemu, I am not all that familiar at this point with the various offerings but some of the info posted in recent threads may help. There were some discussions in the C70 forum about suspension upgrades. They maybe able to point in you the right direction.

I hope to explore a suspension upgrade to my '00 V70R this year.
