A 2013 C30 was my second choice, but I chickened out on buying a BMW 1 series out if warrenty due to my research results on the cost of ownership. I was wondering between 40k miles and 170k miles what is expected to break and what will need to be swapped out on the c30( like spark plugs, fluid, etc)? What has been general reliability like for the car? I don't want to deal with European upkeep but it seems like the c30 is sort of drama free and electronically sound since its a glorified focus.
