mine looks like that maybe a little darker and its burl something something idk ill have to double check the window sticker

it's actually little bit darker in person, it was to much ambient light and I tried avoid the glare.. what's yours? <p> I wish I had a window sticker (and wouldn't be bad to be and original owner as well...)<p> <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/cool.gif" BORDER="0">

according to mr window sticker it says that is "burled walnut wood trim" at the lovely cost of aprox. 575.00. so i was right yay cause mine looks just like it

I have the Belgian Plastic ($0) but to my untrained eye, it looks like "Burled Walnut".

I spotted the shifter bezel piece on feebay and emailed to seller asking for close up pictures. <br> He wrote me back saying "volvo uses real wood that is laminated as you know ".<br> When I politely said that is not, he replied with that:<br>"I have seen the wood splinter so it is thin real wood with polyurethane and then laminated. " <br>He definably haven't seen my picture where the film broke across the "grain".. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/rolleyes.gif" BORDER="0">
