Hi Guys,<p>I have a volvo 1999, S70 2.4l and I always got problems when I put fuel in <p>the car....he won`t start if I dont give him gas after the start....Im putting <p>always unleaded 85....is that alright because somebody told me i should <p>put 91 at least.....Thx for your recommendations

You've got something else going on there but these cars should ALWAYS run 91.

NON turbo it will run on just aboutanything, 87 is just fine but never heard of 85 octane, 87 should be your minimum<br>If it's a light pressure turbo use 89-91

In CO we have 85,87,91. I would run 91 for awhile and see what happens, at least 2 tanks. <br>We always recommend 91 to customers with issues like this as a starting point. The extra money you pay for 91 is worth it, you will get more mileage per gallon so it evens out.

I'm not sure how exactly, but 85 performs like 87, ect.
