Re: (twowheelin)

Yes - alloy wheel lug bolts.
I did a search, and only came across my very own post a while back , but I don't know where the h*ll I got that length from - so I am seeking independent verification that our stock alloy wheel bolts have a shank of 33mm.

Re: What is our Bolt Length? (Short Circuit)

I can measure my lug bolts this evening. They are sitting in a box in my basement. In the meantime, do you think my wheels will fall off? Seriously, I have aftermarket wheels on right now.

Re: What is our Bolt Length? (MAC1LSR)

If you can verify the length, I would appreciate it.
If you aftermarket wheels are a different ET than the stock wheels, then the difference needs to be made up in a longer bolt. Similarly, if you're running spacers, then the difference needs to be made up in a longer bolt. If aftermarket wheel + spacers, then the difference needs to be made up in a longer bolt. So it all originates to the stock ET of our wheels and work it from there. The "work it from there" begins with the 33mm shank length bolt I believe our stock bolts are...

Re: What is our Bolt Length? (Short Circuit)

Just measured 2 of the OEM lug bolts from my V70R. Using a metric caliper, I measured exactly 32 mm from the bottom of the large beveled washer to the end of the bolt.
