So i ordered one of those ipd chrome grills casue they wrere cheeep so anyways just woundering what yall think would be better choice of black finishes by the way my car is passion red also if you have pics of your grills please post Thanks <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0">

Also JRL i was thinking the semi also but just wanted to see what others experiances are/were with the grills

plastidip ftw. i was at lowes the other day and they now carry it in a spray can. thats new for my lowes so idk about others.

IMHO I think it would look best if you color matched the grill border to the color of your car. Also I couldn't really tell if the mesh is silver or black, if it's silver paint it black.

That grill looks nice FastR. I think color matched Passion Red with black mesh would looks pretty snazzy. <p>But to blackout the R...you might as well just remove it IMO. I'd just go with one of the little sticky R's...IPD has them on their site.

hmm the color match the outside rassion red and leave black mesh sounds liek a good idea i might have to try to find a pic of that combo of photoshop it

The new spraycan makes it even more awesome. Holds up extremely well against rock chips

I dont have that grill anymore unfortunately, it was damaged when my car got hit a few months back <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/frown.gif" BORDER="0"><p>It has a flat black finish though when dry, looked good.
