What do you think is the best feature on your R?

We need a little positive talk around here.

I'll go first: a little 2.5 dynamo that even stock pulls like a small block eight when needed, comfortable yet nimble handling, strong brakes, a well matched 6-speed, excellent stereo, all wrapped in a comfy Atacama glove that I can sit in all day and be more refreshed than when I started.

Actually, that's a lot of great features. And all for under $40k.

Hard to pick a best feature for me- car does a lot of things pretty well. I still turn around and look at it when walking away after two years of ownership.

If forced to choose I would say interior comfort is the best, followed by brakes, AWD, safety, exclusivity.

Best feature of the car = Brakes

Best aspect of the car = Stealth (Nothing better than pulling up to an Evo and watching him fall behind in the mirrors)

Best feature it looks like a regualar Volvo to most folks and people don't notice until it takes off like a rocket.

Make that engine work hard and rev it high.

FYI I was recently watching F1 racing and dang their engines are insane V8s. 22K peak RPM but they normally shift at 19K, slowest I saw that engine go was a downshift and rev down 9000 for a slow turn (60MPH). The in car driving action is cool it looks like Gran Tourismo 4, has the digital tach, rev, virutal gas and brake. http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

Range, is that time really completely stock... That's great, if so... nobody believed me when I said I ran a 13.7 stock, so it's nice to see somebody else's R running like that. Gas? Temp? (sorry if you've already answered these questions before, I couldn't find them if you have)

Looks like you both may have fast cars from the factory. And with the body kit I'm also shocked but its not that much more weight. I hear some R's are lemons when it comes to proving it has 300HP.

The R is a great sleeper, and has made me more of an enthusiast by owning it. It is great to love a car, not have everyone in town own one, or even know what it is for that matter, and be able to kick their *^$ on the street with the sweet looking BMW, errrrrrrrr, Audi, errrrrrrrrrrrr Vovo

1) The DriverCare tire warranty - seriously the best feature
2) The stereo
3) The comfy blue seats
4) The Passion Red paint
5) The key is pretty cool looking
6) The whooshing noise the turbo makes
7) The nifty grocery bag holder in the trunk - keeps the cases of beer from sliding around at 80mph on the FDR.

Great all around performing automobile with good flexibility. It's at home either cruising the interstate at undisclosed speeds, canyon carving or taking the kids to baseball practice. It's just great car.
